Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology uses the muscles as monitors of stress and imbalance within the body helping to detect and correct imbalances. These imbalances may be related to food/drinks, nutritional imbalances, microbial stress, chemical stress, environmental stress, emotional or physical stress, injuries, or learning problems.

Essentially everything we need for survival, with the exception of food, air, and water, is found in our bodies. We are fearfully and wonderfully made with a self-healing system created within each one of us. Our bodies have all the answers within them to perform healing as well as express what it needs to help it heal. Applied Kinesiology merely taps into the innate intelligence within our bodies that God created.

Our body response to truth by strengthening it and while lies weaken it. This obviously lines up with biblical principles such as truth leads to life and lies lead to death. “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.” 1 John 3:18-19

This technique brings the internal knowledge of our subconscious mind (God’s calls “subconscious mind” = “heart”). “Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my mind and my heart.” Psalm 26:2

Interestingly our subconscious mind monitors and maintains the body’s operations and will respond to spoken words. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Our body also responds to thoughts, so staying with a neutral thought pattern supports the most accurate responses while being tested. Proverbs 23:7a says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.”

The physiological responses of your body to truth and lies can be measured using a lie detector which will give you objective data. While Applied Kinesiology measures energy of truth and falsehoods using subjective data. It is very much like a reflex (def. an action or movement of the body that happens automatically as a reaction to something) using any muscle of the body while adding a stimulus input such as physical elements or by asking questions.

The cerebellum, the computer within the brain, is the one responsible for maintaining balance as it sends responses between muscle and brain through nerve pathways. Applied Kinesiology is an amazing display of our systems working together to communicate.

Being in this world often creates a stressful response through our lifestyle making it difficult and sometimes impossible to adjust or respond in an appropriate way. This will result in signals between the body and brain to be unclear which will show up as a change in the muscle response. Acupressure points throughout the body lie along channels of energy in the body called meridians that will be utilized during Applied Kinesiology session.
