Genesis 4:6 “So the Lord said to Cain, ‘Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen?”

Father, You present questions to our hearts that expose what is in them. You always desire to lead us into the depths of fellowship with You.  Oh, that we would follow the promptings of those breadcrumbs from Your Throne that whisper this is the way to the abundant life filled with peace and joy. Whether we recognize it or not when You press into our heart’s motives, our spirit and soul is always hungry for the Bread of Life and the Voice of Truth. 

Spirit, don’t let us be deceived a moment longer with our selfish and prideful desires coming from the road of self-righteousness. Give us REVELATIONS that cause us to humble ourselves before You and feast on the Bread of Life. May our stride along the daily path of life change into one full of humility and surrender to You. May we learn to banquet in Your Word like never before and thus find strength in body and mind to accomplish the impossible and miraculous according to Your Will… All by the power of You, Spirit, and for Father’s glory.
