Genesis 3:22 “Then the Lord God said, ‘Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever’—”

Father, when we ignore Your directions and promptings, we journey on a path that leads to loss. Your love allows us to freely choose Your way or our way. Yet we don’t get to choose the consequences of our selections. One brings life and the other death. We are free to journey on it by our own means, yet everything on that walkway will not be able withstand the test of the refiner’s fire. For this fire will melt away everything thus revealing the purity of our heart’s motives. Nothing hidden will be able to remain concealed. All things will come into the Light.

It is by Your mercy and grace that correction comes to us. Let us be ones that receive Your righteousness adjustments with desire, humility and gentleness. Let us be tender-hearted to Your promptings that whisper this is the way, this is the passageway that leads to the life. Spirit, bring us REVELATIONS of how to grow in application of the knowledge of Your Word. Then we will be properly armed for the battles of good and evil that lie ahead. We are Your victorious sons and daughters, impart in us Your strength and wisdom that we may have the fullness of understanding in all we are to do for Your Kingdom to come and Your Will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.
