Father we are before you today asking for you to forgive us and our nation of its sins. We confess the sins of the People of America. We haven’t followed you but turned our back to you. We haven’t respected your ways and word. We ask for your mercy and grace to be displayed by righteous men and women being put into positions of government and leadership who follow you that we may be led in your ways as a nation. Let this nation vote in alignment with your ways will and word. Let glory and honor come to you as our nation turns back to you for your namesake. You have been so patient with us as we have gone off our own way and deserted you. Spirit stir up your truth in our country and cause us to desire to remain before you with clean hands and a clean heart. Let all people learn that posture of humility as we humbly Surrender to you in obedience. Don’t let us get away with anything but let our hearts truly repent with a knowledge and understanding that rises up in us and leads to a lifestyle that is patterned from your abundant life. Let us be satisfied with none of the world systems and all of your ways in all areas of living. Let no deceit and lying spirits have a way in our elections process.
